The Losing Weight Process Starts in Your Mind
When I was fat, I remember that I was more and more upset but it didn't really motivate me to start a diet or to start to change my eating habits! At the contrary, I felt very angry with myself and I eventually eat even more and more junk food! Very paradoxal behaviour... I don't know if every fat person is the same but it is how I was / am. I had to touch the bottom of my "hole" to be able to take action for real! (Exactly the same thing happened when I stopped smoking! But that's another story!) So, I had to feel "ready" and wait for the good psychologic moment even if there isn't really a good or a bad moment! To help me and motivate myself, I started with a strict diet for 14 days in order to see my scale results going down. When you see your weight going down at about 2 pounds a day, it helps a lot to continue the process! I was thinking that I was going to find my correct shape again, fit in my old clothes and be proud as the others would tell me : "You have lost weight!!!". And you have to remember all that when you are hungry and want to eat extra food or between the meals! Doing that helped me to go ahead to lose weight pretty fast... I did the Scarsdale diet for 14 days and I lost about 14 pounds! That's losing weight fast and pretty safely too cause if you follow the Scarsdale diet (low carb diet) for 14 days you can't have deficiencies but don't forget to ask a doctor first! YOU CAN lose weight !!!
I decided to start this blog to help people who want to lose weight as I lost more than 66 lbs myself...
I used to go up and down a lot and I know the principle and what happens in your mind. The best way is the safe way (even if sometimes it goes fast!) because your health is the most important! If you lose your health you won't care to be skinny or less fat!
I am going to share my experience but I am not a doctor or a nutritionist! Maybe what I did is not good for you and you should ask your doctor each time before trying something! Losing weight fast but most of all safely!
If you have experience in losing weight, I hope you will share it with everyone as it is really important. I will do my best to keep in touch and keep the blog up to date!
I wanted to say also that there are so many diets and pills on the internet that the one who really wants to lose weight is lost and can easily fail... Maybe I will put some advertising on this blog cause it's the first time and I am curious but the goal is certainly not to make a money machine blog!
